Where was this taken? The picture was taken at Ladybower reservoir in the Derbyshire Peak District UK.
Why? The lighting made the hills more interesting than usual.
Gear? I use a Nikon D300 with a 18-200VR for general use. A Sigma 10-20 is often used for landscapes and a Tamron 90mm macro for close work.
Tips or tricks? Circular polarizers and neutral graduated filters can be a big help with a borng sky.
