Insight: I was in Sydney early one morning in June, it was cold and I was trying to play around with some blended exposures of buildings when I saw Desmond sitting near Martin Place.
I asked if would let me take his photograph and he agreed.. The biggest problem was there is a lot of street furniture over his left and right shoulders and I couldn’t exclude them in the frame. Hence the heavy vigenetting and “treatment” to draw the viewer towards Desmond.
In hindsight I wish I had my 80-200mm along so I could isolate Desmond better, but you work with what you have at the time!
