This beetle is so docile you could put it any place and it would stay..
It was so beautiful and grew unattended on a roadside by itself.,
Location: The picture was shot in my yard at first light.
Details: F/32 ,1/100 Exp. Right angle to the sun. My camera is Nikon D300, with a Tamron 180mm macro.

Technique: I took the flower in order to avoid the wind, I used a thread to hang up the one seed in, after I removed the thread in adobe photoshop elements.

Info: This image was taken in 2005 with Nikon D70 set on Aperture Priority at f22 – 1/40 sec, mounted on a tripod in natural daylight using a 60mm AFD f2.8 Micro Nikkor. The shrub was in my front garden after a rain shower.

Why this subject? I was shooting the water lilies but this odd plant caught my eye. No flash was used.
